Counter tops

Standard countertops are 1-1/2" thick and 1" for backsplashes, although we have created counters as thick as 4". All of our countertops are treated with a water-based stone sealer and then coated with high quality Food Grade organic beeswax. As with any stone or porous surface, care must be taken during food preparation. The use of cutting boards and heat resistant pads are required. It should also be noted that spills should be cleaned up immediately to avoid water spots or staining. Concrete can be formed around any type and shape of sink, as well as sinks can be incorporated right into the counter (such as a trough sink).

Fireplace Mantels & Surrounds

Since every piece is hand-crafted and customized to meet the personality of the client and the room, the possibilities are endless. Nearly every color, texture and shape can be created. Concrete can look like chiseled stone, smooth as glass, as glossy as placid water, or have the matte look of steel, and is as durable as any natural stone.

Jerry Beute Designs incorporates recycled materials into our products and uses earth-derived pigments and water-based sealants, thus reducing the impact on our shared environment.

Tables & Furniture

Most of our free-standing designs are mounted on recycled steel or reclaimed wood. We have created desktops for the modern office, incorporated recycled galvanized steel into the design of a reception platform and a life-size Zen table for the kid in all of us!
